GM Holds Evaluation Meeting

The General Manager of the Cameroon Development Corporation (CDC), Mr Franklin Ngoni Njie held an end of year evaluation meeting at the Bota SS Club with Top Managers, Estate Managers, Service Managers, Human Resources Officers and Staff Representatives from all Estates, Projects, Services, Units and from the Head Office. The meeting took place on December 29, 2015. According to the General Manager “we set goals at the beginning of the year, it is normal at the end of the year to appraise and agree on strategies and measures for the forthcoming year”

The Head Office Management Controller Mr. Forteh Vincent, made a detailed presentation of the situation of the three crop groups and auxillary services of the corporation. According to the data presented, Group Rubber achieved 87%, Oil Palms 96.2% and Banana 82.2% of their production targets.

After the presentation, over three hours of most questions and answers ensued between workers and the General Manager. Worries were addressed and suggestions were made to move the company forward and improve on production. Over twenty questions were answered by the general manager who concluded that performance should be what drives all CDC workers. He said the gaps inherent in 2015 should be filled in the year 2016.
